So
what kind
of stuff is on this crazy site anyway?
New Stuff
I've reformatted the articles in
the
Garden and added a
new page on
Primal
Psychology. I alsofinished the plot
summary for
Time Slice
and added a
contacts page I call the
Front
Door.
Old Stuff

Danyl Strype, the man behind the mouth...

Aotearoa.
Blue Cod
-
An informal
entertainment management network of
experimental and
little-known kiwi bands, producers, performers and party crews...
Links - Instead of
having a
links page I try to embed lots of useful links within my pages. I also
suggest people to visit the SocialForge project.
Link
of the week: The Game Garden website
- multiplayer online games and all open source!
Link
of the Month: The Libre Manifesto
-
information wants to be free
Planned additions and alterations:
The original concept of Strypey's House Party was to use the theme of a
home with many different virtual 'rooms' containing all the different
sections of the site. I have since seen the homepage of avant-garde
band the
Dresden
Dolls
who have implemented this concept with far more style and flair than I
could ever hope to achieve. So, I went back to the drawing board and
came up with the concept of Strypey's Sandbox. It began as a
place to keep info I need to access or
work on that might be of use or interest to other people too, which is
why it's fairly patchy, so this name seems to fit.
I would like to put some more thought into how
it's laid out and presented if only to enhance my web design skills a
bit. Besides I intend to improve my web weaving skills and
teach
myself how to use
html
frames
and
Cascading
Style
Sheets (CSS) so I can incorporate these into the
rebuild. My contacts at the bottom of this page are accurate, the rest
of
the pages will need to be updated.
The Forest -
Resources for
permaculture and
other sustainable, organic agriculture
philosophies...
The Shed - Links
to DIY technology
you can make
at home and an inventory
of recycled computer parts I have for trade...
Time
Slice
- cut'n'paste the text for all the scenes into the main
timeslice.html page and set up named anchors to link from the list at
the top to each scene.
Free
Sound
- finish designing and researching this and link it
SellDeath -
still in
conceptual planning but intended to be a satire on
the corporate-consumer system and possibly an industrial electronic
music act...
Add economic democracy links from IMC Alternatives wikispace to the
SocialForge
page...
Proposals to link to the Garden - BASC (Browser and Search Cache),
PreMix (Indymedia-orientated
desktop distribution of the Haiku/ OpenBeOS operating system), Opener
(distribution of Firefox aimed at Opera fans), Beat Bix (open source
drum machine)...
The Outranet - Don't know what this will be
yet, I just like the name...
News:
I've created a
blog
called
'the Cures of the Matchbox Penis Hunters' where you can read about what
I've been up to.
Don't know why you'd want to read
Old
News but
here's all the bloggy bits I wrote for this section of the page before
I set the new blog up.
Page Updates:
A (fairly) complete
history
of all changes to this site just in case you're...
REALLY
BORED!
